First Baptist Church of Glen Rose is a local gathering of believers committed to worshiping and serving Jesus Christ. As a Southern Baptist church, we voluntarily cooperate through the Southern Baptist Convention in spreading the gospel around the world. We emphasize the Lottie Moon Christmas Offering for international missions, the Annie Armstrong Easter Offering for Northern American missions and the Mary Hill Davis Offering for mission work in Texas. We are thankful for the denominational heritage we have received and believe strongly in the work and objectives of the Cooperative Program. Just as Jesus ministered to people of all ages and backgrounds, we desire to do the same. That’s why you will discover ministries here geared to various life stages and needs.
